Who We Are
More Than a Book — A Movement for Financial Dignity
Prepared Finance is a Ugandan social enterprise on a mission to put financial tools into the hands of everyday entrepreneurs — market vendors, boda riders, salon owners, tailors, and anyone running a small hustle.
We started with a simple, paper-based finance book. Today, we're building an entire support system — from agent-delivered mentoring and custodial bookkeeping to digital backup and credit matching — all designed for people who've been overlooked by traditional finance.
Based in Nansana, Uganda, we believe that when you give someone clarity over their money, you don't just change a business — you change a life.

Not at all. The book is made for everyday business people, even if you’ve never tracked money before. It's simple, visual, and comes with easy instructions in Luganda or English.
You can buy a replacement copy anytime. If you were working with a Prepared Agent, your past records may already be backed up in our system.
Prepared helps you build real records that prove your business activity. If you use the book consistently, we can connect you to SACCOs, MFIs, or partners who offer credit to qualified users.
The book costs between UGX 5,000 to UGX 10,000 depending on your location and delivery method. Contact us or check in a stationery shop (price may differ) near or your local agent for exact pricing.
Yes. The book is self-guided and comes with instructions. But if you prefer help, you can request a Prepared Agent near you for monthly check-ins, data entry, and support.
